The Pottery and Craft Studio is a new business situated in Thames Ditton High Street which is owned and run by myself, Jo Hart, and my best friend, Natalie Collis. We first met some 11 years ago in the vehicle insurance industry and both became fully aware that this type of business did not satisfy either of our creative needs.

After searching for activities in the local area, we decided to take my children to a ceramic studio and discovered that actually, we enjoyed the experience just as much as the children did. The activity became a regular occurrence and we became more and more interested in finding out further information. We attended numerous courses in
Oxford which lead us to decide to open our own studio. After 2 years of planning and obtaining certificates for painting courses, plaster courses and of course ceramic courses, we finally opened our studio on 13th October 2007.

As we had already visited other ceramic studios, we had an idea of what we wanted to offer. Unlike other studios, we offer a wide choice of items ranging from mugs to moneyboxes. In total, we offer a choice of over 70 different pre-fired bisque items so that every member of the family is catered for. The painted item is then glazed and fired and are lead free, non toxic and dinnerware safe.

Other services we offer are Childrens Parties, Corporate Events and Adults Evenings. We also undertake commissioned pieces from as little as £3.00. We can supply Wedding Favours, Celebration Plates for Weddings, Anniversary's, Birthdays, New Born Baby Plates, Christenings and many other different occaisions.

Our studio can cater for up to 22 customers and children of all ages are welcome. We cater for mothers with pushchairs and have highchairs for your convenience.

The studio has a lovely relaxed, friendly atmosphere and our aim is to provide a top quality service every time you visit.
